Default Throwing code that has been tuned out

My SES light came on today and the scanner shows a P1416 and an unknown code. I have LT headers and removed the AIR system when I put them on and had it tuned out. This was all done 2 years ago and now all of a sudden I am throwing these 2 codes, can anyone tell me how this is possible? Could the unknown code be connected to the AIR system code coming on?

Very interesting...Based off that I've never heard of something like that before, I'd see if you can get a local tuner to check on it. Maybe tell them the problem and see if they can give you a check on the tune or fix, they shouldn't charge more than $150.

That code is sometimes associated with the air pump check valve.

There's turned off, and there's turned off; how you
do it determines whether you get a light, a code or
nothing. Pull the tune back out and inspect the
particulars.
