Default Re-did my AMW bracket mount.

I made a few changes for apperance reasons, instead of using hex bolts I went with botton head bolts. Also, drilled three larger holes for looks, did a little trimming on the end where the AMW bracket mounts. So, what do you think, good, bad or a POS?

Al

OK, I'm just bound and determined to look like a goob, but why would you need a catch can? I know the principle behind the idea, but what are y'all catching on a street car? I see them all the time on race cars, but can't see anything on a street car that would justify it...?

Regarless, that is a very nice looking bracket, clean, I like it. If I ever decide I need a catch can, I'll be wanting one!!!

Joe, o.k.

Steve, I'm sorry.

Taco, Here's the AMW catch can http://www.accmachtech.com/pcvcatchcans.htm , it comes with the black mount for the catch can which you can mount all most anywhere. I made the polished bracket because I like the idea of mounting it close to the PCV, it also look ( or at least I think it does ). My bracket won't work on cars that have the EGR mounted on the head.

Thumbs up

I got this bracket from him. Good Communication, Fast Shipping, and a quality piece. (especially when faced with the old "where to mount the damned catch can" issue.....

That is a nice bracket. I plan on ordering a amw unit soon, e-mail me with some info on that bracket (ljo524@aolcom), I definatly like the look of that. Does it come with the bolts to mount it to the head? Thanks for the info.

I like it a lot but it's just a bit too pricey for me, maybe I will get it later, who knows.

I think it's very reasonably priced, and it kept me from having to drill holes in my car. Definitely a must-have with the amw catchcan.
