Default LSX installed

My car is finallly up and running after having the LSX intake installed. My impressions of this intake are not good. My car feels like it has lost low end torque. Maybe tuning will help. The engine noise has also increased. Overall, I do not think that this a quality product and more time should have been spent in development.

I also just installed the 78mm. Week one I put on Kooks sounded great. Week 2 I put in a fms f4 cam, harland sharp rockers, asp pulley, sounded even better, no sewwing machine, ticking nothing on a ls1 intake. Week 3 installed mti throttle body and that pos lsx wow it sings like a singer now. Those long runners really bring out the noise. My broter just laughed and said gm probably spent millions for it not to sound like a pos and you just though all that r&d in the toilet.

H.P. isn't cheap and it's noisey too and GM put foam pads on the bottom of their intakes for a reason noise, so I did the same with my LSX. You should always get it tunned when you change air flow so get it done then let us know what you think.
Good Luck!
