thats the knock sensor wiring harness, the bracket is held on by the back 2 intake bolts. The wiring harness just clips onto it-I deliberately left mine off when I installed my ls6 intake.

i went and looked at it again today and to be more clear the sensor or whatever is right behind the rear 2 coils on the driver side if your looking at it from driver side and right between the valve cover and plenum under fuel rail.....i dont know about it being a knock sensor or whatever cuz it doesnt bolt on...the sensor or whatever it is just clips into harness then clips onto the intake...

Are the clips blue? If so it is part of the knock sensor wirring harness. One of the wires runs under the intake to the Knock Sensors, the otherside i assuem joins the PCM wirring harness.
