I have a qtec. something broke on it yesterday, after a month and a half. I called them up, they said send it in and we will send it back the same day they get it. I was happy with the performance of the unit until it fell apart yesterday, and so far customer service has been great, I just hope this gets it fixed.

My QTEC fell apart after only using it for a month or two. Biggest POS ever.

I ordered a MPP2 about a week ago. Can't wait to get it.

They were prompt and helpful when I emailed wanting to verify that I had ordered the correct one (with the electric motor on the pass side) and wanted to change the LED so it wouldn't be on unless the cutout wasn't fully open or closed.

I also like QTP as a sponsor and have ordered from them before.

JMHO,

I have the Dual McCord Package.. can't beat the price

It took a week to build them and only 2 days for shipment via UPS. Overall great CS. Very responsive to emails.

MPP2 quality is excellent. I've had them on for almost 2 months now and the seal like a champ. Very solid. My exhaust bottomed out and they're still working. So I'm happy with them.

*non-sponsor pricing info removed.

McCord is the guy that originally built the electric cut out a few years back. He refined the process a bit since then. I believe he uses a distributor to maintain the store front for buy and demand.

Good guy!

McCord Mcpp2 is a great piece. However, my expirience with them was horrible. Waited seven weeks to get it. See this thread for a little more about it - 2nd post from the top.

McCord without a doubt. Cheapest, best customer service, and the best built. McCord's are the original, the QTECHs are imitations. In fact, if I remember, QTP used to sell the McCord when they were called something else, until they decided to just sell their own copy and make more money. It's been a while. Anyway, I've had 2 cars with McCord, no problem. Ordering a dual setup for my vette when I have the $$.

Can't link to their site or quote pricing, but just do a google search.

We are not imitations nor did we ever sell anything but our own product. Get your facts straight. I always laugh at comments like this. So untrue.

If anyone has any questions feel free to call us and talk to our tech guys. We have over 6000 units out there right now and working with General Motors with the possiblity of our unit on a production vehicle.

You can order through us or any of our numerous dealers.
