Cutout before LT install a problem?
Help me out guys!
I got a cutout I want to install while I'm getting my SFCs welded in but I don't have any exhaust mods yet. I plan to get LT headers in the future.
Let's say I get the cutout put in now and later I get LT headers and a ORY but I want to keep the stock catback (talkin' outa my *** here), will there be any issues with my cutout? I may eventually decide to get an aftermarket catback system so I guess I'll have to worry about it at that time.
Should I just wait or what? I need to know soon because I may be getting this done in the next couple of days.
I'm using the search feature too but I haven't found anything specifically addressing this yet. I'm still looking though so please have mercy on me by sparing me from the "use the ******* search *******" line

i dont think you would have a problem getting the cutout now, you could put the cutout just before the axle and still be able to change y pipe or catback later on

You will be fine installing the cutout now. Have it installed in the I-pipe before the axle, under the rear seat (there is a clearing in the floorboard where it fits nicely). Then when its time for headers/ORY, the cutout stays with the catback.
