Default 5.3 connector ID help

I just bought a new DOD 5.3 and was wondering if it has a front cam sensor or rear. When I purchased the front cam cover was not there. I know certain models after 2008 have feon cam sensors but not sure about this one. I took a picture and hopefully someone can help.

Thanks

That Is without a doubt a gen4 block, and would have a front cam sensor.
The plug in you see on the back is related to the DOD.

Food for thought, I have yet to see a DOD motor that was a gen3. There are DOD capable blocks that use a 1x cam and 24x crank, but did not utilize DOD

Okay, thanks. So if you have a gen iv block their is no way to convert to rear cam sensor? Reason I was wondering is because I have a 2001 5.3 front cover and didnt want to have to buy another cover. Since I need a new cam sprocket I was planning on converting to a three bolt design when I purchase the new cam.
