Default Starting issues 02 camaro

I am curious if anyone has known of this issue I have with my 02 ss Camaro. Every so often it just rolls over when I go to start it. I can leave it, than try a few min later and it starts up. It has bout 60 pounds of fuel pressure. and no codes come up when I had it scanned. I was told possibly the crank sensor going bad. just curious why no codes pop up. come spring guess il buy a crank sensor to try.

Thanks guys,

02 ss, 6spd 3.90 gears, ory, longtubes, tuned by frost mail tune. 108,000

Wow guess my car has quite a rare issue with it then. Come spring I'll change the crank sensor and go from there.

Default no start

try switching the ignition relay thats under the hood with one of your fan realys. they are the same relay and you can switch them to trouble shoot. i have had the same problem with two trans am and you switch the realays and bam starts right up

Post in the correct forum, and you may get some more "hits"..
Tune/diagnostic forum comes to mind.

IGN relay is good place to start. Mine did the same ****, could reseat it/swap it and the car starts. The fuse block had a loose contact where it plugs in.

I had same issue on my old 98z. Turned out the battery was just not giving the full amount of volts it needed. It was just barely enough to not be able to tell it was bad but wouldn't start it. Ever since then I make damn sure my batt is charged if I ever have starting issues. Its easy to overlook stupid easy issues.

When my crank position sensor went out in my 99 z28 my car wouldn't start at all. However I didn't throw any codes either, if your not getting spark crank sensor is probably the cheapest place to start.
