so I had a buddy of mine help me install a new cam in my camaro and he did the valve springs for me so after about 1000 miles I drained the oil and all was fine I then changed my oil again probably about three to four thousand miles later and this time I found metal Springs from my valve seals on the drain plug. He installed the blue ones that came with my double springs from comp double Springs so obviously I need to put in some new valve seals is there any way of telling whether they were installed improperly and calls failure I do remember that he did not put any kind of lube won the valve itself before installation and I see that that is recommended

I had the same problem with comp seals, get the patriot seals and scuff the outside of the guide with scotch brite pad.

I can't use any gm with double springs right? Patriots are the only other option? I'm assuming all should be changed
