Default LS6 Intake install question.

Since I have my car in pieces right now for the header install, I figured I'd put my LS6 intake and valley cover on too. My problem is getting the tubes disconnected from the EVAP soleniod, the one on the LH side of the engine.
Any tips tricks etc?
Also do all 99 vintage ls1 blocks need to be cut for the LS6 valley cover?

your talkin bout the black plastic line with the gray clips right? if so they are not that hard to remove, push down on the gray clip part that is flat and pull out the line at the same time, should come off.

Thanks thats the one I'm talking about.

If the clip is U shaped I'm pushing on the botton part of the U right?

Thanks

When you push on it you should see two ends of it come out the other side. They are not connected and the whole part is shaped like U. once the two legs come out the other side pull the line out.

I would also try to remove from the intake port “brass fitting” not were it hooks up to the evap it's self. It’s very easy to get off.

Use a standard screw drive to push only on one side. If you use any thing that grabs both sides you will never get it out.
