Default TSP header question

So bought TSP headers only to realize later that all of there y pipes have a 2 1/2 inch exit? well its my fault for not researching I guess but will any other y pipes work with these headers?

So where the y merges into a single pipe is only 2.5"?

Not at all. It's actually 4", but necks down to accommodate a stock exhaust if needed.

It's a simple 20 dollar mod, and for me, that included the stainless tig welding. Take a look here in a thread of mine.

I believe it's actually 2.75" OD. If only TSP would address this with the clamps they supply in the kit... all 3"!

Further, all catbacks will be 2.75" ID so as to work with the factory y-pipe -- even if they are 3" immediately after.

I modded that part too... Another 7 bucks

But yes, agree it's actually 2 3/4"
