Anyone running Polyeurathane Motor Mounts ?
Since I have excessive engine movement and banging of my exhaust, I was thinking of installing these polyeurathane motor mount.
While they do decrease engine movement, I heard they cause more vibrations. Are these vibrations really bad and annoying ?
thanks

Thanks for the response.
I was just told that I would get bad vibrations if I were to install them. But you guys are reassuring me.
Now, who knows where I can get these ?
Nasty Nate, do you sell them ?
thanks a million

I installed both sides. I had to unbolt the air conditioning and swing it to the side, but it wasn't too bad. It stopped my y-pipe from banging and I really didn't feel much increase in vibration. I would NOT recommend installing a trans mount. If you do, the vibration will drive you nuts!

Its definitely worth doing, but it is kindof a PITA. I found no real difference between doing the driver's side only vs. doing both poly mounts, so I would start with the driver's side. The Prothane mounts are a direct replacement so stick with those (the ES mounts need shimming - at least they used to, haven't checked them lately). I wrote up some instructions a while back that are pretty thorough IMO. I'll see if I can find a link...

it's energy suspension. different company
i used the prothane mounts and noticed no increased vibrations. the car is actually much more tame at idle now since the motor sits still.
