Default Installing Cats

I was just wondering if a shop would even install you new exhaust if you didn't want to put the cats one again? I was thinking Hooker LT's then a stainless works y-pipe and i dont want the cats on would a shop do that or would i have try it myself or go with some high flow cats?

Almost any chain operation will refuse. Have to find a
smaller, friendlier shop that doesn't have a corporate
legal department. If you go with one of the Ys that
have the high flow cats bolt-in and a "test pipe" pair
too, then you can always put the cats back for any
smog test or no-cats ticket you might get. But then
you're spending money on something that sits on the
shelf.
