Default LS1 intake on 5.3 fitment

i have a 5.3 truck engine and im trying to fit an ls1 intake on it.
the truck intake had some spacer connected to it, and the ls1 intake is not wanting to sit all the way down where its supposed to.
am i missing something? one side of the intake will sit all the way down where its supposed to, but the other side will no set on the head.

Is the throttle body hitting the coolant pipe on the top of the water pump? The truck water pump has the pipe pointing up and the F-body water pump points forward.
