Default Tap stock radiator?

doing my steam ports and have a 4 AN kit for it, it needs a AN fitting to finish.

Has anyone tapped the stock radiator on an 98-02 car with an NPT fitting? Is there enough material to do so?

Where is everyone running their steamvent to for the AN kits?

I wouldnt recommend it,, the matierial is not that thick,, if you look everywhere the factory installs fittings there is additional matierial for the mounting area.

Thanks, looks like I'll tap the top of the water pump and plug the radiator like everyone else.

A "bulkhead" 2-piece fitting might do. Then again, a LT1
style radiator would give you several other ports and a
fatter core too. So maybe you fill one less port than the
usual swap.

Why not just run your line to the stock steam return port on the radiator?
