Question What does the line from TB to Valve Cover do?

... can this hose/tube be eliminated? I ordered a set of valve covers - with some slight modifications to it - it came without the tube. I have a catch can. Can I "cap" the tube from the Tb and just add a breather in place of the oil cap? Both valve covers have the same style of oil openings on each side. Would a dual breather system work. I have no AIR or ERG. LS6 PCV mod has been done. It is basically a drag only car, with limited street duty.

Thanks for the help
