Default real feedback on S&P Maf Needed

So I have a 5.3L that has an LS6 intake on it and I plan to run the LS6 drive by cable throttle body. I have no air ducts and don't currently have a MAF. My project is a swap into a 1950 Chevy. I'll have very limited space and want to keep the engine bay looking clean. I have found that S&P sells a MAF set up that is incorporated into an air cleaner that goes straight onto the throttle body.

Has any one here run one of these that can give me some honest feedback on them?

I'm aware that ideally the MAF should be in a straight piece of tube but because of the lack of space it may be either the S&P unit or a speed density tune to get rid of the MAF so I can run an air cleaner on the end of the throttle body.

Thanks

I should also say that this is not a performance build. I'm just building a mild cruiser to take to car shows and on nice drives.

For your situation, I think a SD tune would be the easiest thing to do.

I was leaning that way but I haven't seen many people say anything about the SD tunes on here.

So no one has ever used one of these S&P units?

What about any experience with the SD tune?
