Default Stock manifold

At what point does the stock intake manifold become restrictive? I remember reading it somewhere but couldn't find the thread anywhere.. Right now my goal is to put some numbers down in the 400rwhp and bein in college I don't want to waste money on upgrades that could've been better spent elsewhere.

So you probably have the LS1 intake then. I assume you are looking at swapping to a LS6 intake? With that said you could gain a few hp even stock, and it would only get better from there

Smile

if youre looking to make 400rwhp NA youre going to need full boltons and a decent sized cam.

so yes an ls6 intake will be beneficial.

I'm using an LS1 intake with the EGR plugged. Made over 400whp on a Mustang dyno.

Nice! I'm deleting the EGR n AIR systems to clean up the bay a bit so the ls6 will compliment that, I just need to calm down and keep saving.. I'm not cutting any corners in the build but like I said don't want to waste money either
