Default Largest Capacity Oil Filter?

I am installing an LS1 in a boat and have no depth issues... can someone tell me the part number of the largest oil filter made to screw onto the factory block?

I've read on here guys are using the Wix 51522 truck filter, but is there a larger filter that will screw on? I'd like to maximize my oil capacity and filtering... Thanks!

You could always get on the Wix website, or simply call them and they have the dimensions literally at their finger tips.

I'd personally stick with the 51522 though. It's MORE than what you need for that motor.

Thanks guys... It looks like the PF61 is only marginal larger, but if that's the largest, I'll give it a try.

Dr, the filter area isn't so much the concern, I'm more interested in gaining oil volume. I'm using the stock F body oil pan and for marine usage I'd ideally like to see more oil capacity...

Thanks guys!
