Budget ?

Desired performance level ?

What kind of vehicle ?

Manual or Automatic transmission ?

Intended uses of vehicle ?

Do you have to pass Emissions / Inspection ?

Why would you use an LS6 intake on a 5.3? With stock cam, you wont see any difference and be out $300.

I would use the truck intake if you can clear it with the hood, longer runners, more torque, less compromised by space. If space/room is an issue and that is the reason for the change then yes go for it but you will need a few things. Like car style water pump, hardware, fuel rail, map sensor, possibly the steam line crossover, etc.
