Default LS1 H/C swap, have 90MM TB, what intake

I'm getting ready to do a H/C swap in my LS1, its an 00 WS6. I'll most likely be going with the vengeance racing combo pack with 220 heads and vrx5 cam...

My question is what TB and intake to run. I currently have a 90MM FAST TB (got it a ways back pretty cheap) and wouldn't mind using it, but still have to get a bigger intake to run the 90, hence the delema.. do i sell off the 90 and just get a LS6 intake w/ stock TB, or do I keep the 90 and get an LS2 intake to take advantage of the 90.

Iv'e herd the LS2 intakes are somewhere between the LS1 and LS6s, but since I have the 90 TB would it push the gains past the LS6?

I'm not looking to spend 800+ on a fast 102, but have also seen that the LS6 intakes arn't cheap either..

Any thoughts??

the ls2 is a terrible intake honestly. it will make less power than the ls6 with a stock tb even with its 90mm if you dont want to shell out money for a fast then the ls6 is the best bet. You can get a nice forted stock tb and just sell the 90 or run it on the ls6 with an adapter. personally though if you need to buy an intake i would shop around for a used fast. you can find them for around 600 if you shop around vs 300-350 for the ls6

You can get enough by selling the Fast 90mm tb and your ls1 intake to buy an ls6 intake.

If I were you, I would be falling over myself to unload that Fast tb. It will gain you nothing on any intake you mentioned but it WILL cause your tuner headaches out the *** and might not ever idle properly.

List the 90mm in the classifieds on here for $300 free shipping and haggle from there. I sold one that needed things fixed for $200 shipped, it sold within 20 minutes of listing it.
