so i switch from NA to a turbo setup moving the alternator from the botom to top like always. all i did was extend the pigtail. in the process i got a shorter belt (not that it should matter). i start the car now and the battery light IS NOT on but the gauge is low. running only on battery voltage. any suggestions???? thanks

sounds like you extended exciter wire is not doing the job
