Default DMH cutouts? Junk?

I have had one for less than a year and it quit working all of a sudden. Checked my power and ground and it is good. Have they been known to fail. I took the little boot off the solenoid and it kinda looks like corrosion is trying to set up but its not bad? Anyone else had one quit working on them. It has been wet a few times that Ive been caught in the rain :/

I had a DHM for a few years and never had a problem with it.
When I sold it I left the harness on the car as it would have been a PITA to remove it.
They sent the buyer a new one free of charge.
Good company and good products IMHO.

JUNK

horrible customer service, you WILL NEVER get ahold of them for any warranty.

Mine went out in less than a year, took it apart myself, cleaned it and beat it back into working condition. something froze it up, take it off throw it at the ground and smack it with a hammer a few times see if it works.

other than that.. go buy a QTP

They are junk and the customer service is junk. Called them 12321321432412 times, after someone picked up and I told them that I needed extra block off plates....I never received them.

my motors got beat up pretty bad from the Fawked up roads and speed bumps and they fell off one by one. But other than the complications they bring, they gave me some good memories... ha sounded like I was ready for the drag strip, people would stop stare point etc

So.. I am getting ready to order some electric cutouts and after reading all of the posts I believe QTP is the best to go with. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Good experience with DMH here, albeit it was a while back.

Purchased in 2008, failed in 2010 I think. The guy at DMH mentioned a new design or something. Anyways, they sent me a new one in a hurry. I swapped the unit onto my current vehicle in 2012 and it's still going strong. I probably use it a little too much...
