Default question about my lq4 build

Im in the midst of builing my lq4, my plans are stock crank, 6.125 rods and probe forged flat top pistons. Im going to hand port the 317 heads and a super vic intake and carb its going to be a strip only car. Soo my question is... I imagine i have to mill my 317 heads down to achieve the comp ratio i am looking for 10.5:1-11.0:1. Does anybody know what the amount will be? And my next question is what thickness head gasket would you run on a nitrous car that will get sprayed on a regular basis?

If the chambers are 66cc, you should be at ~10.8:1. That would need about .030" taken off the heads.

Play around with the Online Calculators and try different combos to see what you get. Remember that milling the heads reduces PTV, so the more you cut, the more limited your cam choices will be.
