Default do i need my oil pressure sensor?

I just got done replacing my cam position sensor on my 00 WS6. I managed to break the oil pressure sensor and was wondering how relevant it is? I'm trying to get my car smogged (emissions here in cali) ASAP and would rather save this project for next weekend. Will this broken sensor effect driving or the engine??

Im not 100% sure, but I think the oil pressure sender is only wired to the gauge in the dash, not connected to the ecm at all. So you shouldnt have any problems

There is no connection from the OPS to the PCM. You can delete it.
