Default Upgrades to intake?

In my swap, I only have room to run shorties, although they are not as good as long tubes, they are still a tiny bit better than manifolds.

4.8/t56
Cammed
Spring'd
shorties.

One upgrade I wanna do is intake, but I don't wanna pay for an ls6 intake (too expensive) .
Is $225 dollars plus shipping a good deal for a TBSS/NNBS manifolds with rails and injectors?
And then $100 bucks for a 92mm TB?

And then exhaust, in NC you cannot run a cutout that bypass's any emission or muffler devices. So after my 'Converter', I was going to run a cutout pipe, and then cutout, then instead of just dumping it, having it run into like a straight through small glass pack. Its not bypassing a muffler because the exhaust is still going through one, and its already went through the converter.
Kinda like the corvette exhaust, but more red neck. Anyone done this before?

So that's a good deal?
Should I try to lower it or leave it be?
And anyone else have any exhaust ideas?

Yes that's a very fair price for a complete intake. What are you going to run this on a gen III and are going drive wire or cable ?

Try to lower it just a bit if not just take it what that person is asking for.
