Default pics of vibrant 3" inlet to 4" outlet 2-1 merge

Thought I'd share some pics of the new merge I just got in from summit today. Looks solid, and I think is a step up from the flow master merge without the price tag of some other high dollar merge collectors. I'm currently gonna get it custom fitted to a kooks y, believe all that is needed (fingers crossed) is a 3" 90° bend.

Looks good, I know my buddy spent a lot on his merge by another company.

It looks really nice but doesn't it seem like they could have left it larger where they bring the two pipes together. Almost defeats the purpose of having a large diameter exhaust. I like the way flowmaster does it.

Ah I see what you mean, but it does have a nice contour to where it opens up. I'm fairly happy with it, waiting on a couple things before I install it. Thanks guys

I have been looking at these two 3's to a 4 for a while and it seems that when the two 3's merge to 4 a cone or transition section is used to increase scavenging. I like the transition on these. Better than nothing for sure.

Very nice, until you've seen one close up with your own eyes you won't know how nice they are(2.5"/3.5" Vibrant Y-merger on my exhaust). Furthermore, it's not 1.5' long like the FM merger so it's easier to incorporate with better clearance than the FM merger. I've also seen both in person before being installed and I don't (IMO) see it being out flowed by the FM, plus it's T304 stainless steel and the FM is aluminized steel. Regardless, the only possible negative to the Vibrant is the cost compare to the FM, and the FM is still a nice piece .

Post some photo's after it's installed, and your overall opinion of the upgrade, and enjoy!

It was 105 shipped, part #10362 I believe. And I'm really happy with the quality as I've bought other vibrant products before. Did a search and found one other person on tech running one but it was a 2.5 to 3" I believe so I thought I'd give it a shot. I Never like the butt joint on the kooks y but that'll be fixed with this. Over all paid 220 for edelbrock stepped ceramic coated long tubes when they were being phased, 250 for the kooks y that has the 3.5 inlets, and 105 for the merge. Hopefully all I need is the 90° bend from the looks of it. I like balling on a budget lol. Thanks guys

Awesome numbers through an auto poltergeist. I'm m6 and hoping for 460 to the tire with some mast small bore ls3's I have on the shelf. So far I've got the heads, ls3 intake, I'll be using the rail/injectors/fast 92 tb off my fast 102, morel 4708 lifters, ls2 trays, ati damper, just need a spring kit, and a c5r chain to put it together.

It sounds like a nice build! I hope you reach your goal. It's always nice to have the tuner call you with better results that you were expecting.

Good list of parts right there. I don't see you reference the cam. What size cam are you going with? Custom or shelf?

I'm going fti as soon as funds allow. For now probably keeping the 228/234 that's in there. As of 8:46 this morning I'm officially a dad. Greatest fathers day gift anyone could ask for. Happy father's day to all. Godbless

Congrats! I was born on fathers day too.

How are the Edelbrock LT's holding up for you? I got them on close out too, and they still look like new (I don't drive it in the rain).

Congrats to you! If it's your first, multiply your wildest car ride x 10. That's the experience kids will give you. At least it feels that way to me.
