Can it be any MAF from 98-02 ls1 or does it have to be a MAF from a 98 only?

anyone use the z06 85mm conversion, is it like all the other aftermarket ones? Or does it actually work?

All FBody years are the same P/N and I have seen the
MAF tables to be the same too.

Z06 conversion like from Pace is the same idea as the SLP
MAF, only using the descreened base unit. Resistor across the
legs, dunno if the value differs any but there's really only one
"right" answer if you want to match the stock curve.

Z06 MAF from gmpartsdirect.com and a tuner who knows
enough to set you up with that table, would be the ticket.
Though on '98-'00 the PCM doesn't know what to do with
inputs over 10.5KHz (?) and the plastic MAFs (w/o the
resistor) produce more frequency per airflow and may
peg out the PCM below your true top end airflow.

So, werd to da werd on da MF werd and just get yourself
a stock unit, and you can just forget about that whole set
of questions / problems.
