Default slp lm1, lm2, or other

So I have been researching exhaust systems for a while and I have been frustrated because I have no clue if slp lm2 is loud enough on the top end or If I would want an slp lm1 or other. the exhaust clips I have viewed, the dude usually never revs it to full throttle, or the camera quality sucks *** etc.. I would also like to know if there is a better alternative for under $400. My car is an 02 SS and I am not going to run LT's ever because of **** California emissions lol. It will be bolt ons for a while, until I get a cam package but that's not coming anytime soon. My main concern is if an LM1 has too much noise in city driving or on the highway (again bolt on only, no LT headers) or would I want to get an LM2 instead.

I have a magnFlow catback with the single slash tips and sounds pretty damn good. Its loud but not rediculous. My idea of loud means nothing tho, you should try and hit up a local car show and hear how catbacks sound in person if available

The LM1 and Magnaflow are not in the same universe in terms of loudness. Get the LM1... it will be very loud with cats and manifolds. But it will sound pretty good. If you ever get tired of it, get LTs, or whatever, you can always swap in the SLP PowerFlo muffler conversion kit for 299 that will use the LM1 resonator and two bullet mufflers. Or you can just swap an LM2 bullet muffler in place of the LM1 resonator to take some of the noise out of it as well.

So you've got some options.

This the PowerFlo conversion: http://www.slponline.com/product/310...rsion-Kit.html

There are plenty of guys who pass Cali's liberal emissions with big cammed motors and LT's. I have the LM1. If you want videos lmk.

I think the LM1 sounds great. I'd love to replace the TSP bullets I have now on my duals with them.
