Idling high n RPMs go up to 3500

Idling high n RPMs go up to 3500 My 02 ss started idling high after my second pass at the track yesterday. If I put the car on neutral while it is running the RPMs will go up to 3500 bit will go down after I'm at a complete stop. Vacum hoes leak?
