Default Header install physical help...

I'm trying to make some extra money and be able to swing a 1200 dollar purchase for headers/y-pipe this summer instead of waiting an entire year. Here's the thing, if i can swing it, there is noooo way i'm going to be able to pay for labor so i'm pretty much askin if anyone reads this in the milford ct area who wouldnt mind spending a few hours helpin me out w/ the install let me know....i got beer! LOL Thanks!

try the eastern section, you might be able to grab a hand, but fwiw i did my header install by myself with the exception of hooking up the ypipe which took less than a half our.

if you have even the most remote mechanical skills, some basic hand tools and a weekend you can do the install yourself.

read the exhaust guide for install tips and walkthroughs. foff667 has a nice one in there

seriously, there not hard. you'll of course run into a few hang upss now and then but a header install is not worth the 300+ most shops charge.

like jpr said the headers are not that bad, just don't take any shortcuts and if something is in the way take it off. Key to getting headers in easy is getting the car up high.
