Default Converting from 98 to 99 heads, coils and brackets?

Doing a H/C swap for a friends 98 Z. We are using the later center bolt heads and have the matching valve covers. I know we need new coil brackets but will the 98' coils bolt to them or are new coils needed??

Your '98 coils will be fine. The PCV system is different on the two years as well, so I would order one for a '99+ to take care of that.

why does the 99+ have a ground running from the pcv stuff to the front coolant tube in front of the intake and the 98 doesnt? anyone know what that is for?

Would somebody elaborate on where the difference lies in the PCV systems?

main difference ive seen is just that the PCV line connects to the valvecover differently on the driverside cover
you could rig it up to work with the older lines with a roll of electric tape, but I'd rather have the newer line
