Default LS1 coil pack brackets

Okay, I need to get 99 and newer style. Jegs has some for $15 new a piece.. but are made of HD plastic....

My question is aren't the OE ones stamped steel??? But the GM part# Jegs is giving is 12563288. The ones on my 02 Camaro seem to be steel, but will do the magnet trick later when the sun comes up...

Any info quick would be gratefully appreciated b/c I want to order some by the end of the day.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the OEM brackets are made from steel.

Not sure what your are working on, but you can probably get a whole set of used truck coils for $80 or so with brackets and harnesses. Never hurts to have spares
