Today has been a scorcher, lower 90's high humidity. just a shitty day all around so i opted to use my a/c. when i turned it on, the compressor came on instantly and i got a burst of cold air, but i heard a ticking/clicking kind of sound and then it would only blow semi chilled air. it got to the point that it was just blowing air, barely cold. If i put the dial on max a/c but turned the fan itself down a bit, it would blow colder.

could this just be that its so damn hot outside today and under hood temps being slightly higher? (i do run very slightly rich). Plus i had the cutout open, would that have an effect?
