Default Want aftermarket dipstick and tube but need help. What should I get

I have a LQ4 block and F body oil pan. I cant find any dipstick tubes that flat out says its for LS engines. Does anyone know where I can get one? And does it matter that its an LQ4 block or will it be the same for a LS1 block and oil pan? The only threads I can find is where people bought aftermarket tubes and nothing is lining up or reading oil level right. Trying to get it right the first time

I have a dipstick for a f body pan, I would think it should work on a any LSx motor with a f-body pan, but if your motor originally was a front sump pan then you will have to remove the plug to use the f body dip stick and plug the original dipstick hole

What do you need an aftermarket one for? The stock ls1 dipstick tube works with an LQ4 and f-body oil pan. That is what i am using on my iron 408. They moint the same exact way as it did stock.

I don't need an aftermarket one. I just hate how I have the engine bay paint matched, gutted, all sorts of cool and good looking aftermarket parts...and then a nasty looking yellow dipstick sticking out like a sore thumb.

I got the one I ordered in the mail but I currently have the heads pulled. I'll test it out eventually and if its the right one I'll post a pic and part number for anyone who has the same question as me

use the wand for the pan, not the engine for having the right oil level reading.

i think locar makes some nice billet stock replacemt setups for the bling

Here is what I ordered. And I think it will go along nice with the Kurt Urban steam system. Much better than the black tube with yellow dip stick. But like I said I still have to get the heads put back on and everything first.
