Default cme exhaust questions

Do they bolt up to all or most catback with little modification? Just picked up a hooker aero chamber and flowmaster y pipe for 150 bucks . Getting rid of the true duals tired of blowing dust on my black car . Going to put an electric cut out on to make up for the hp loss.

The assembly, I through tips, will swap anywhere the
stock one would. But that you mean by catback has
some interpretation-room. Being as cats (stock) are
way forward, do you include the stock Y or one that
means to come out in the same place allowing stock
catback?

CME will loft some soot too, just in the middle instead
of the sides. Not too bad (and mine's silver) but any
exhaust is liable to leave some residue unless it sticks
out well past the bumper.

Yea the y pipe and catback will exit just like factory. Just wondering if I can remove the tips from the hooker catback and slide the cme ones on. I'll deal with a little soot lol.

My CME is put together with traditional "U" clamps and
these are so crushed in that the pipes will never pull
apart. You might be in for some strategically picked cuts
and band clamps or welding. Maybe cut and flange so it
is just bolts, next time.

CME "bells" can be pretty brittle, the web between them
is not at all stout. Go easy on any crowbar griefing.
