I got a gm performance swap pan aka hummer h3 pan installed on a 5.3 I am going to be installing into my 98 Camaro. Will it clear the same as the factory pan? I have heard that the swap pan will fit anything a fbody pan would but is there any proof of that statement?

If all else fails I will find out when I go to install the engine

Where have you heard or seen that the H3 pan will fit a 4th gen F-body?

No it will not fit it is about 3-4 inches deeper then the LS1 f-body oil pan.

Thanks for the information guys, I feel kinda dumb I looked right past that oil pan sticky thread...Looks like its time to take the gm muscle car pan off and get it up for sale
