O2 Sensor relocation to rear harness
I'm sure this has been addressed many times before, but I didn't know what to search other than what's in the title here.
So I'm installing Kooks LT racing headers no cats. I've bought the rear corvette bosch O2 senors to replace my front O2 sensors. I'm chunking the rear O2s, as there's no reason to have them now.
I'll be getting the car tuned once it's bolted back up, so I'm pretty sure this will work. Just want to confirm it, first.
So after getting the headers in I was looking at the O2 sensor ports. Looking at it I could connect the oem front O2 sensors to the rear O2 wiring harness to the front O2 ports in the headers.
I was thinking I'd be better of running my O2s like this, making the rear O2 engine harness port my main, and deleting the front O2 engine harness port in the tune. This would avoid running the electrical lines alongside the hot headers.
Oh and this car is my DD.
Thanks!
