Did you feel a big gain? What is involved in switching the LS1 to the LS6 intake?

Thanks.

I have a LS1 short block and was gonna put a custom FMS cam (220/220-113LSA) in it and a set of Stage 2 5.3 heads from absolute speed.

On a stock motor the gain will be minimal. With the heads and cam you're doing there it will be a nice gain. The switch is easy. Take off the stocker, instal the coolant plugs in the rear of the cylinder heads, install the new coolant line at the front, put on the new manifold and button her back up.
