, 3/8" studs & 5/16" guide plates. Some have 3/8 guide plate How can i know what i need on my ls1 corvette 2004

the guide plate needs to match the pushrods... simple as that.
a 5/16 pushrod uses a 5/16 guide plate
an 11/32 or a 3/8 pushrod needs a 3/8 guide plate
