Default Help identify random part

I have had this for years and I don't have a clue what it is! There is no P/N or labeling of any kind on it. It does have "in" and "out" written on the AN fittings though. They are -10 or -12 and it had engine oil in it.

There is NO shaft or pulley on it. There are also NO numbers of any kind. I may just take it apart to figure out what it is. I'm not sure what else to do to figure it out. I was sure that somebody on here would say "Oh that's a ******! I run one on my..."

I'm just gonna bring it to work tomorrow where my tools are. I'll post pics... I'm gonna guess that there's at least one, one way valve in it. Once I identify it, it's going up for sale.
