Depends on which Fast intake you are looking to get before people can point you in the right direction...

I'm sure others may disagree, But I think it would be overkill for the small amount of mods that you have if that is all that you are planning to get.

It all depends on how extreme you will go in the future.

If you aren't going to do much, I would maybe get an ls6 intake, cam, trunion upgrade stock rockers, springs, ported oil pump, lid, exhaust and tune.

For the money, you can get more parts that will net you more power gains than if you just get the intake / throttle body.

still need more info

If you're axed out on bolt ons then go for the FAST, especially if you plan a cam in the future. Follow these steps for intake shopping and you'll have a good setup. A fast 92 will sacrifice a bit of power but is a little less work.

Fast 102
LS3 Fuel Rails ($70 used)
Injector Adapters ($price varies but under 80)
Fast 102 ($?)
102 PTM or NW TB (do not get a FAST tb they suck) used ($250-300 new $350)
Valley Cover bolts (10 bucks at ace)

If you went with a 92 you would n ot need new fuel rails or injector adapters. However the 102 is worth about 10 over a 92 and $150 for 10 hp? I'll take that any day. With the 102 you may or may not have to relocate the map sensor sometimes it hits the firewall other times its fine. I relocated mine and it took 10 mins and 5 bucks in hose and an adapter. The FAST 102 also requires an ls2 style replacement water pump or grind a bit on the ls1 pump

If you use aftermarket rails you can keep the ls injectors. Also gonna need ls6 style coolant tubes.

you need to inform us on your plans. Like redbird555 said, if you have all other bolt ons and plan on some internal work, Fast is awesome. If you only have the few that you listed and don't really plan on doing anymore, then I wouldn't personally. But nobody just stops there. Also your wallet is a factor and if your aren't going to go crazy upgrading and have the willpower to actually stop modding and be happy with what you have, then you can get more parts for the money. I have never met that person.

But it's always nice to purchase once instead of upgrading the parts many times over.

and $150 for 10hp is a killer price. I almost cried when I did the $1000 for 10hp hurdle.

OP, I would honestly just get whatever Fast intake you can that is a good deal. I just picked up a used Fast 90 with throttle body, fuel rails, and injectors all for $600. Ill turn around and sell the fuel rails and injectors along with my LS6 intake and TB, and not have paid anything really. I would NEVER buy this stuff new! Just a thought...

Sorry guys , thanx for the input! I apologize for not being specific, currently am running Msd coils, dynatech long tubes, no cats , slp lm2 cat back, ls6 intake with Nelson tune, I would like to install fast 102 intake but would like to get the most out of it... so I'm sure someone could recommend a head/cam setup that would benefit a stock cube ls1 like mine? Also if I do get the fast 102 what exactly is needed to just bolt it on and haul ***.. sorry I'm a noon when it comes to this awesome forum?!?

Well, a fast intake will benefit the plans that you have

Redbird55 gave you a nice list of parts to help get this bolted on a few posts above.

So true! We all need help lol. I thought I was done after a cam swap. Now I can't stop researching heads.

Op, just keep researching multiple options. Eventually you'll figure out how much you wanna spend and what to buy.

I actually bought mine a week ago from a member on here. I thought it might be too good to be true, but took a chance, and everything was good thank god lol! I'm hoping to break even after selling my LS6 and the injectors and fuel rails that he provided as well...might even make a buck or two lol. Sounds like you waited and did pretty good too

Sorry not meaning to thread jack, but this question goes along with what the op is asking. Say if I was to just go and buy a new 102 intake from say Texas speed, what all would be needed? What fuel rails and lines and what not would also need to be purchased to bolt it on and go?

Did a search for all the parts ,seems like a pretty easy job, I'm gonna go for it as soon as I have the cash! Only thing I need to research more is the water pump clearance issue?, and need to know for sure if a ls2 water pump will bolt right up to ls1??
