Default What is this sensor?

Recently when I had my car tuned my tuner unplugged this sensor saying I no longer needed it because I removed the AIR system. What is this sensor and should it still be plugged in?
Thanks

No need for it after air removal and tune.

The air pump in the driver's side fender weights a lot, certainly worth getting rid of. Took mine out a while ago along with anything connected to it. Used HP tuners to delete any related code.
