Anyone know what the construction of the collectors is gonna be?

Not sure you are gonna see much of a gain over a good set of 1 7/8 with merge collectors and a velocity spike.

There was a test where the ARH 2" picked up 5hp on an LS3 over their 1 7/8.

I still would have to think unless you're building a big cam high rpm 5.7L screamer with all the supporting modifications that's NOT a DD car, or a 4xx ci motor it would be a waste of time/money. You'll also have to expect less clearance in the engine bay with the larger 2" tubes and correlating larger tube bend radius which will move the tube locations the most compared to 1-7/8" header tubes.

If 2" headers are doable, then Texas Speed will do them right and fitment won't be an issue. They won't sell a product that's done half *** and won't fit properly.

I'm sure they'll do them right and try to minimize any potential fitment issues, but regardless you will lose clearance somewhere. You have to remember that you just can't make the bends as tight as with smaller diameter tubes without hurting flow.

Already said once most guys I would imagine that are interested in 2 inch headers are max effort type of guys! Including myself, big cam, super Vic, nitrous outlet would run collector mufflers and dumps.

Per the last thread I'm in but need some like yesterday. I'm on a stock k member and a 415 with nitrous waiting to exhale. I think I could benefit, guess that's y I'm TRYING to skip the 1 7/8 straight to 2". 510 n/a before the bottle.

Since we're talking bout headers who makes fender exists with stock k?

I actually helped install a prototype set in a co-worker's 02 TA. We highly recommend they be used with an aftermarket k-member. They can technically be used on a stock k-member but trimming will be required. There's just not a lot of real-estate to run a 2" primary. One competitor has done it but without copying their routing I don't see how it can be done. We are still working out pricing, collector sizing, and so on. We are thinking of making it in both 3" and 3-1/2" if this comes to reality. Our goal if we move forward is to be able to offer the headers at such a reasonable price that you can purchase the headers and a k-member at a price comparable to the competition's price for just headers.
