dumped duals with bullets and no cats
Ok guys, I'm trying to get my final exhaust setup for my car. Current is stock manifolds, stock y, 3 inch from the y back with a dynomax bullet. I plan on putting pacesetter lts, with 3 inch duals with no cats, dumped right in front of the rear axel. My cousin seems to think it would be way too loud but that's what I'm after. And this is my setup for my car and my final plan for my is a track only car.
My car is not a daily driven car and I hardly ever drive it. I mean if it's going to be insanely loud I would consider maybe extra pipe out the back until then but I drove my car with an open y pipe and it wasn't ridiculous.
Basically any opinion on it from someone who has been in a car with a similar setup?

Man it's not that bad at all. It's really not. Remove the carpet and it's a different story. My car was high compression heads and cam as well.
Why Pacesetter and not TSP though? I'd want it to last (ie stainless).
Just be sure to angle the turndowns 45* towards the tires, and not directly down at the road.
Here's my first start after the heads and cam swap... Obviously a cold motor.

I was gonna go with pacesetter ceramics. I want it last as well hints the ceramic. I have done some research and found many people happy with the pacesetters for the price. I mean if they were garbage I wouldn't consider them but they're not. I don't think you can beat getting ceramic long tubes for 400 bucks.

I once entered my car in a muffler rap contest with stock motor and 1 3/4" Pacesetters and TSP true duals with the sweet thunder mufflers dumped. Measured with a decibel meter, it won the contest with 123 db reading. It was a fun setup for awhile, but I grew tired of it.

Texas Speed Stainless Steel headers are 379.00 for 1-3/4'' and 409.00 for 1-7/8'' right now.
1-7/8'' really benefit at high horsepower (more than 500 at wheels), but don't hurt stock power cars either.
I have pacesetters and they are OK but If I could re do I would with Texas Speed ones.
