Default NW 92 TB vs Fast 92 TB

I myself have learned, first hand, that fast throttle bodies are crap. I should have done more research, on here, before I bought the fast. I know there are other threads about this but I never found any pics so I thought I'd post up.

In all of the pics the NW throttle body is on the left. You can easily see the IAC port is superior in all aspects. The PCV port is also way better. The idle problem it cured, from the fast TB, is the racing idle while moving.

Don't get a Fast TB!

Hasn't Fast had these issues with their TB's for a while now? If so you would think they would've fixed that by now

I agree! I actually took a step drill and an .537 drill bit and opened the ports up. It helped a ton but my tune still needs work.

Well that's good to know. I'll put the NW TB on my wish list for when i order my FAST 92 intake. It's got me skeptical on what the build quality of a FAST Intake is like now...

I have been preaching this for a while now. I screwed with my fast 92 tb for weeks in september. Finally broke down and got a 102 nw and had it tuned in 3 days. I even ported the iac hole which helped a bit but not enough. car would never start cold and had an unstable idle warm.

The IAC hole is too small for a cammed car period.

Thanks for posting up the review and comparison pics. I'm looking for a 90/92mm cable TB for my swap and will be taking the FAST off my list.
