Want to run FAST 92mm. NW or LS2 TB?
I want to purchase a 92mm fast intake manifold for my current build. I have a stock ls6 intake and the stock TB (78MM) I believe. Should I go with a NW 92MM TB or a stock LS2 TB and have it ported. The difference in cost is minimal when buying new.

Can't go wrong with a Nick Williams. They nice quality and easy to tune in like some other brands I know. My buddie car runs like **** in the winter with the other brand while my NW idles like a dream.

thanks for the input. Since the C5 is a drive by wire setup options are very limited. Now the only question is to install setup out of the box as is or to have the intake manifold and throttle body ported.

Alright. After everything I've read and all the input from yall I'm gonna pull the trigger on the fast/nw. I'm also trying to get together the remaining parts for my cam install. Should I run the stock damper or upgrade ,the one im looking at is the ATI 917278?

Yeah they are expensive though, like 400 bucks. If i'm buying one it will be an ATI, Go big or go home right. Probably go with the 10% underdrive considering the car is 99% street and I think the 25% would be too much

The reason the expensive is because they so well balanced. Put a cheap balancer on your motor and you'll find yourself with a broken timing chain which means engine failure.

well considering I only want to build this motor once and built it right I should just fork over the 400$ and have the added insurance and piece of mind. What are your thoughts on the 10% vs 25% UD?

You'll see most horsepower gains out the 25% but guys say they have alternator problems (headlights dimming) ..... solution to that is running a higher amperage alternator. I KNOW for a fact a escalade will fix that issue. It's kinda a personal preference. Everybody go have a personal opinion on the 10% vs 25% deal....

Guys... This is a C5. He has to run the LS2 TB. HOW are you going to run a cable TB? You can't.
Well, you can, but you'll screw up the active handling and TCS. The computer uses TB input for all of it.
Get the LS2 TB. It flows plenty. You can even get it ported by VMax, PeakSpeed, or have Shaner do it.
