Default Water pump pulley help

New here. Hope this is right place for this question. Please bear with me and I'll try to tell you what we're doing.
We're building a LS 415 to race in a modified dirt car. All aftermarket stroker stuff. Intake and external oil pump. Oil pump will be another question...lol
We're going with a 25% ud ATI damper and am wondering what water pump pulley I need for a good aftermarket pump.
This is our first LS build and we've jumped in with both feet.
Going to turn engine 7500-8000 rpms.
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. I have tons of questions on building this thing.....lol

Welcome to LS1tech!

Yep, the water pump is on the outside of the engine so you're good.

A nice new stock GM water pump should be good.

For internal stuff like that oil pump, head over to the internal section.

There are not many choices for an aftermarket water pump. And they're expensive. You'll have a hard time beating a stock pump. With an underdrive pulley, it shouldn't have any trouble surviving those rpm's.
