Long time coming... LQ9 Z28 Exhaust Clip
500+ Horsepower LQ9 Powered Z28
I have been meaning to put a video up of this exhaust since I had it in my 98 before it got hit over 3 years ago. Now that I am selling this one, I figured it was about time. The video still doesn't do the exhaust justice. I haven't heard a any F-body sound as good as this in person. Hardly anything does..
Engine:
LQ9 iron block, LS1 heads, Comp Cam Torquer V.2 camshaft (232/234 .595/.598 113 LSA), LS7 hydraulic lifters, Upgraded Rods and Springs, K&N Performance Intake, LS6 intake manifold, LS1 throttle body, No EGR, D585 Truck blaster coils w/ heat sink, 28lb injectors, Racetronix fuel pump and harness (Walbro 255LPH)
Exhaust:
3" True Dual (no crossover): Long Tube Headers, Pacesetter High Flow Metal-core Monza Cats, Spintech Pro Street Mufflers, Dumped at the rear axle.
Like most of us I spent a lot of time mulling over how to build this exhaust.. I went with Spintech because of it's more unique and aggressive sound and it is not the norm for F-body builds. I like my cars being tastefully modded and unique. I felt this fit the bill.
Enjoy the Video
