I think it is. Mine isn't ported but if you're going max effort then get it done right the first time. Check this thread out before you decide who to buy from.

if you're going to pay someone o do it pay Mamo. yes its expensive but honestly what the other companies do can be done in a garage in about 3 hours. I had a vengeance 92 and frankly the home port we did on my buddies 90 looked and felt exactly the same

You'll pay anywhere from roughly $250 to $500 for the extra 5-10 hp.

I spoke to Tony Mamo and his Fast 92's are $1375. I would like a piece of art work from him, but I need to know when to call it a day. That last 5 hp on top, not to mention under the curve just really adds up big time.

I had Peak Speed Shop do mine and it looked great for the money spent. Bob said I would gain 8-12whp(just the porting)with my setup. Tony told me around 12-15whp gain from his porting. While I am certain Tony's work is superior, it was not worth it to me to spend twice the money on this build. If I ever build a max effort setup then I will have Tony build the entire Top End. If you want the best then go with Him.

With heads and cam I think it's worth it if you can spend that little extra for that last few hp

All depends on if the money is an issue, the porting can only help with future mods plus the extra 5-10 hp you'll gain from the stock piece.

Guys,

Not to blow my own horn but I pioneered this process in 2004 and no one in the industry has pushed on these intakes over the years as much as I have....alot due to my wanting to exploit the merits of the cylinder heads I designed and let them really show their stuff.

What are the qualifications of the guy wielding the grinder on your intake.....if you gave a chimpanzee a grinder and let him have at it inside your manifold technically on paper you have a "ported FAST".....much like a ported cylinder head, the difference in the actual real world application can be night and day. Not all "ported FAST" intakes are the same. I am an expert in the field of airflow and prior to launching my own company a few months ago, designed dozens of winning cylinders heads and intakes for AFR....the entire 2014 catalog represents every product I designed there since 2001.

A MAMO ported FAST 92 has been proven time and time again to net my customers 20-25 RWHP depending on the heads and other pertinent facts about the combination. The real world gains double what an out of the box intake can provide.

Those who have seen my work can vouch for the quality....you get what you pay for guys....I would be out of business if that wasn't the case.

OP.....its very much worth doing.....PM or email me if you have an interest and here is an older thread but something of interest if your considering a ported FAST.....even more material comes out of the 90/92 units believe it or not.

Cheers,
Tony

Let's see ... 50% more cost for 100% more HP & Torque (vs unported)
through Your whole curve, If you have good heads and a bigger than stock
cam & can afford it, sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Exactly. If you're going max effort and want the BEST, SEND IT TO MAMO.

The added expense of a ported manifold is certainly worth it. How much you want to pay is up to you. Our manifolds have been proven time and time again to make power. Our pricing is in line with the work performed. Rest assured we have tested EVERY ported manifold on the market and while some "look" nicer than others, there is no additional power from the extra port work/investment.

Feel free to PM/email/call with any additional questions or to place an order.

We are actually offering the porting on FAST manifolds for FREE through the end of the month, which is the best offering that we ever give on the FAST manifolds!

And our technicians aren't "Chimpanzees" so your investment will be well worth it....

Is this offer only valid if the intake is purchased through you?
